When I grow up I wanna be like you too...

Thanks for the inspiration.

I can't sleep.

Feeling like being left behind

Yeah alright. I don't do anything to change this feeling, but still it hurts. I wish I could start everything again in another place: Finland. Far away from many burdens of my present life.

New Ibanez

Yeah! So that's it. I didn't buy the Condor I wanted because it was too expensive. Instead I bought a black Ibanez and it looks like this:

really hoot!! Gonna get it at the shop tomorrow. Can't wait!
Cheers! Julia

Skid Row

Hey folks! So there I finally went out today yay! Forgot to mention about Skid Row! They are coming to São Paulo in november and I'll be trying to go to the Concert. Here is their story:

In 1986 SKID ROW was born in a garage somewhere in Toms River, N.J. Formed by founding members Snake Sabo and Rachel Bolan. Like a bastard child of a thousand maniacs, they relentlessly pounded the New Jersey club circuit; packing houses wherever they performed. Fast forward to 1989. SKID ROW's debut album goes on to sell over 5 million copies in the U.S.A. along with a tour that takes them around the world.
1992 the band releases their second record SLAVE TO THE GRIND which debuts at ..1 on the Billboard charts. Making them the first Heavy metal/Hard rock band to do so. Slave rockets to multi-platinum status. This is also followed by a massive world tour. In 1995 band relationships severely strain, but they reluctantly go into the studio to record what was thought to be their final release SUBHUMAN RACE. Soon after, the band parted ways.
That was until late 1999 when founding members Rachel Bolan, Scotti Hill, and Snake Sabo decided that SKID ROW meant far to much to them let the music fade into rock obscurity. There were changes to be made the question was who. Enter Texan singer Johnny Solinger. Suggested through a mutual friend the band visited Johnnys website and were immediatley interested in what they heard. A few e-mails later and the singer was on a plane to N.J. He had a quiet confidence about him when he walked through the front door says guitarist Snake. Rachel adds We knew he was the guy half way through the first song of his audition. Johnny fit the bill to a T. Great voice, great attitude and was clear on what the band was about.
With a new frontman in place the band needed a rock solid drummer. They turned to Atlanta native Dave Gara. Dave came into rehearsal and started playing and everything felt right. It was like he had been in the band forever. explains guitarist Scotti Hill. If they thought things couldnt get better, they did. In 2000 SKID ROW landed the coveted opening slot on the KISS Farewell Tour. The tour of tours. It brought SKID ROW's music back to the hungry masses. Since then the band has logged a few hundred thousand bus miles and some 350 shows during which the band was busy writing new songs for their cd THICKSKIN that was released in 2003. That album put SKID ROW's past in perspective and future in place. SKID ROW has just put the final touches on their new CD REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE that released worldwide October 24th, 2006 on SPV records.

I love to read about bands, seeing how they actually lived when there was something huge coming in their future. Really inspiring facts : )

Well, cheers! Julia

Moody

Hey there!
I'm reaaaally strange today. First of all I wake up with cramps which is not good at all. Today is Sunday and I didn't do anything beside listen to music, study and eat shit. My parents went out but they didn't take me with them ( yes, they are on shopping mall, while I desperatly want to go out and buy more CDs).
Me and my mother played some TapTap on iTouch and then she went upstairs saying that we were going out and finally I'm here, crampy and moody. Yeah what a greaaaaaat day!

Been listening to Journey and Night Ranger the whooole day.

Lavatory Love Machine

EDGUY - Lavatory Love Machine

Oh if only Brazil was not so far
far away I Would swim or walk or ride
But never ever fly
But all the noise of the maniacs there
The sweat on my face it's worth to bear
But I don't wanna bounce and die

But then I see a lady in a tight blue dress
I close my eyes, I know what I would go for
Stewardess before the crash

Lavatory Love Machine
No fear can quell my steam
Lavatory Love Machine
No cabin fire burn my dream

I am at your disposal
I gotta get up to see what you ain't gotta hide
Wheeling junk along the aisle
Keep your seat belf fastened
You're whipping with an iron voice
You command
Uh mistress I am in your hands

And when she asks me what I'd like to eat
I realise the domina feels the same
And I reply: What about your pie?

Lavatory Love Machine...
Lavatory Love Machine
No broken wings to stop me steam
Lavatory Love Machine
Honey dou you like the way I cream?

Now if I gotta die
I'll have been stiff and smiling till the crash
Let them know I've been alive
Till I made my final splash

Lavatory Love Machine...

Don't hear the scary noises
From the turbine when you scream.

Condor Power EX900

Definetly the one!

Four thousand rainy nights

Hey there! Today it's reaally rainy. Quite love that weather. I think I'm alergic to sun xD well anyway, I might buy the guitar from Condor. I'll buy a either a Floyd or a STR. Strators let me change the colors if I get fond of it, but I like the design from Floyd much better. I still don't know. There will just be decision when I'm holding both guitars *.* it will be either black or purple (or both in STR's case). Black would be just too simple but still neutral. Let's see!

Running out

Today was a bit heavy. Wake up early and did some school job and then went to gym. Had a nice lunch: fish, rice, potatoes, salad and beans.
When coming to school I had to follow the bus. The transport here in Brazil is not the same like in the other parts of the world. Here you have lines and buses from many companies and they have the stops. Some buses are more frequent and so there are those that take aaages!
Great. In the bus I met two friends and came talking and blabbing and gossiping with them.

************

Anyways, I tried talking to someone in special but we just shared few words, which made me a bit sad and depressed and blah blah blah... I wish I was a bit nearer from that person for many reasons... I might write about it someday... I'm at school waiting for time to leave.
All I can say is that I want to finish school as fast as it's possible.

Good night!

Good night everyone! I already had my Mighty Nighty Milk, so I'm ready to sleep. Tomorrow will be a long say starting with doing pH's (my school's names is pH and this pH's are exercises) and making Biology homework. How I wanna get rid of that!
Sleepwell and have sweet dreams!

Guitarload

Yay! After being so sick I finally managed to go to gym. It feels so good to come back to muscle working *.* it is really cool to see people missing me and asking why didn't I go to the gym on the weekend and monday. Really cool people.
I arrived at school and met Paloma and Jessica here and Brunna (as always) got here late.
Yesterday my father commented about buying me a guitar. I really want one! I actually wonder about the model I want. I thought about a Paulo Stanley or a Strato, but dream really is to have a Flying V... Aaah someone give me a light!!! Huahauabauahauahauahau
I think I'll be asking help for Elias Viljainein, from Sonata... HuahauHauHa

Wifi

Yay! Wifi at school finally came back to work for us. That did great because I now can speak with people from the forums at msn and of course write to you.
I arreved home from school at 19:00 and picked up my Night Ranger CD called Neverland and put it up so no one would not listen. The first track is my favourite: Forever All Over Again. Is a sweet ballad to open an album! I found this CD in a Saraiva store (which is quite impressive because they definetly don't have that wide range of old albums) and it was the last one. Of course it had been waiting for me to come! HHahah I had to buy it on the other day, so I left it separated and bought it. To my luck it wasn't thaaaat expensive.
My siblings to have dinner with us which is always of great fun. Nina always has fun too because these two can't stop playing with her. We downloaded some songs to our Tap Tap Revenge and played them.
Now that they are gone Nina wanders in the house looking for them and settles down somewhere in the house to spent the night.
Gonna have Mighty Nighty Milk and sleep!!!
Good night!
Juli

Good (sick) morning bloggers!

I wake up today really early today to go to gym but found myself with a terrible headache. I think I am getting a cold =( so then I went downstairs to have breakfast and thus could take a nap to see if the ache got better and here we are: me and my achin head. I'll take a shower and relax a bit, I should take care of my health sometimes. Cheers!

Throat ache

Hey there!
How are you all doing today?
I'm not so good. For some reason I woke up with throat ache. I think it was the air conditioner. I had to turn it on because of my siblings, three in a room xD we stood awake until 2am and woke up at almost 11am! It was fun because my cousin also joined the mess, so we laughed all the time.
Tomorrow I'll hvr to catch up with studying because I'm in our club. Just ordered a coffee. I shouldn't get addicted to it, thus I won't stop drinking it. I'm so lazy today that I even didn't go to Gym. That reminds me of Helloween's guitarrist, who Twitted once: " gym=pain" I could just but agree with him.
Well, my coffee has just arrived, gonna have it! Bye bye!
Juli

Hey there!

Yay! Long time I don't write to you! I'm sorry for my abscence, but I was in week exams and couldn't and didn't have time to write. Anyway, I'm here and am trying to update everything happened to me.

Recently we've been victims of a horrible shooting in our street. The P2 (extermination police) were chasing the robbers who had just broken in a house and they were just waiting to getting in a small street to finish them off. And the small street was ours. They were four and they got caught in front of our house. They were all killed in less than 1 minute (!!) and we had to give interviews and take photos. It was a messy night. We stood awake until 2 am talking to the police and to the perits. On the other morning we had to clean all their blood and collect the capsules. At least no one but them got harmed and now it is minus four in the world.
We all know, from the street, that this would never happen in here. First reason is that they were isolated from the most people and that they already were running away from the police, thus this were not their action area. Second reason is that they were hurting high- society people: actors and actresses, doctors, lawyers etc, mostly because of their cars/motorcicles, and big houses from TV people (not just actors and actresses). We overall were not in danger, but shooting already is something to be worried about, of course. I'm greatly satisfied with the P2, whose work is to protect people from what the actual police would never do by itself because of the "awesome" government that pays them correctly and give us all the protection and care we need.
That situation might change someday to a better status, but that is a long and difficult process that involves no corruption and conscience from the people, which is one of the problems today, cause people don't go to school, so they will never know what is actually going on behind the politics scene. Anyway, that's a subject that leads to enourmous discussion.

After all this mess, yesterday my mail orders from Helloween and Nightwish finally arrived! I'm so extremely happy!
From Helloween I got my subscription of one year to The Kings Club, plus a T Shirt, two cards, gift card and Sascha's guitar stick.
From Nightwish I got a zipper hoody, a T Shirt, two flags, the tourbook and a notebook! I'm sooo damn happy! I can't wait to purchase more things on both shops *.*
haha I also updated my CDs listing, which is growing bigger and bigger each day xD I might post it later then, so you can even indicate some music.

That's basically everything. See you.
